Stewardship: A way of life
The kaloob katiwala program has been coined by Fr. Lito Jopson together with the laity based on concrete experiences and discernment. The kaloob program was once a program of its own, which started in Our Lady of the Poor Parish, Taguig City as Kaakbay, which is based on the stewardship of treasure. But when I attended the Stewardship Conference in St. Peter Parish last 2011, and the Katiwala Program (tagalog term for stewardship), the kaloob found its proper context in the vast world of stewardship. We intend to feature reference materials that would help us live out stewardship. He is one sample of such reference: "Making Stewardship a Way of Life" by Fr. Andrew Kemberling and Mila Glodava, 1991, Our Sunday Visitor Publishing Division, Indiana, U.S.A. It contains the following outline: 1. spirituality of stewardship 1.1. core values 1. gratitude 2. love 3. identity 4. trust 1.2. time, talent, treasure 1. time 2. talent 3. treasure 1.3.
